  {"id":66374,"date":"2008-03-25T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2008-03-25T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.uri.edu\/news-draft\/uncategorized\/former-supervisor-of-r-i-forensic-drug-lab-to-speak-at-seminar\/"},"modified":"2008-03-25T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2008-03-25T00:00:00","slug":"former-supervisor-of-r-i-forensic-drug-lab-to-speak-at-seminar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.uri.edu\/news\/2008\/03\/former-supervisor-of-r-i-forensic-drug-lab-to-speak-at-seminar\/","title":{"rendered":"Former supervisor of R.I. forensic drug lab to speak at seminar"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"press-release-import\">\n\t\tKINGSTON, R.I.- March 25, 2008- A retired supervisor of the state Department of Health\u2019s Forensic Science Laboratories and an adjunct professor at Roger Williams University will discuss, \u201c Street Drugs and the Forensic Drug Lab\u201d on Friday, Mar. 28 at the äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾\u2019s Forensic Science Seminar.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nProfessor Gino Rebussini\u2019s lecture will be held from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in Pastore Hall, 51 Lower College Road, Room 124 and is free and open to public.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nWhen he served as Supervisor of the Forensic Drug Laboratory, Rebusinni\u2019s responsibilities included testifying in the various family, district, superior, and federal courts in Rhode Island about 600 times.  He retired after 31 years.  Rebussini is presently involved in developing a forensic science curriculum for numerous public and private high schools throughout Rhode Island.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tRebussini will discuss his experiences including investigation of the misuse of controlled substances and the use of illegal substances.
