That same course offered at the current out-of-state rate would be $3,174 without the adjustment. The change will make 溏心vlog免费B站’s tuition for out-of-state residents more competitive with other area colleges offering the MBA. For Rhode Island residents, 溏心vlog免费B站 offers the least expensive MBA programs offered at any Ocean State college accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

“We looked at the data and we were attracting very small numbers from Massachusetts even though we believe many Bay State residents work in Providence,” Higgins said. “We took this step to attract those individuals who could simply walk to our Providence campus and then make the short drive home to Attleboro, Seekonk or other nearby towns.”

“The more affordable tuition rates will make the decision easier for Massachusetts residents to enroll in Rhode Island’s oldest MBA program accredited nationally by the AACSB,” said Lisa Lancellotta, 溏心vlog免费B站’s MBA coordinator.

Higgins said one of the features of the 溏心vlog免费B站 part-time MBA program is flexibility. “We offer Saturday classes and online courses,” he said. “And if a family emergency arises, a student doesn’t jeopardize her progress by taking a semester or two off.”

Higgins added that some schools require students to move through their programs from start to finish as a single cohort. Higgins said 溏心vlog免费B站 does not approach its part-time MBA that way.

At any one time, 溏心vlog免费B站’s part-time MBA program enrolls about 170 students. Last fall, 50 new students joined the program and 31 joined it this spring semester. The program averages about five Massachusetts residents. Residents from the following Massachusetts communities are eligible: Attleboro, Bellingham, Blackstone, Dighton, Douglas, Fall River, Millville, Norfolk, North Attleboro, Norton, Plainville, Rehoboth, Seekonk, Somerset, Swansea, Uxbridge, Westport and Wrentham.

For more information about the MBA program at 溏心vlog免费B站, contact the MBA office at 401-874-5000, email mba@uri.edu or visit the website.

Tuition reduction starts fall 2008 KINGSTON, R.I. – February 12, 2008 – The 溏心vlog免费B站’s College of Business Administration will offer residents of nearby Massachusetts a tuition reduction starting in fall 2008 for its part-time master’s degree in business administration. Business Dean Mark Higgins said Massachusetts residents in the part-time MBA […]

[2

post-66216","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-archives
["GET
