\n\t\tKINGSTON, RI \u2013 January, 31, 2008 \u2013 The 溏心vlog免费B站 Theatre Department announces audition dates for the play The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, which will be performed in April. Auditions are open to the public. <\/p>\n


\n\tTo sign up for an audition, call the 溏心vlog免费B站 Theatre Department at 401-874-5921 or sign up outside the theatre office on the second floor of the Fine Arts Center, 105 Upper College Road, Kingston.<\/p>\n


\n\tWritten by Jay Presson Allen and based on the novel by Muriel Spark, The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie is set in 1930s Edinburgh, Scotland. Brodie is a spellbinding, unconventional teacher at a girls\u2019 school who, with her opinionated, anecdotal and eccentric teaching style, grasps the imagination of a group of girls during the most impressionable time of their lives. Her male colleagues conclusion: \u201cGive me a girl at an impressionable age, and she is mine for life.\u201d <\/p>\n


\nAudition dates: Tuesday, Feb. 5 and Wednesday, Feb. 6 from 6 to 11 p.m.,

\n Robert E. Will Theatre, Fine Arts Center.

\n\tPrepare a 1-to 2-minute well-written, contemporary monologue that \tdescribes an event or tells a story with which you feel an emotional \tconnection. No slang or foul language.<\/p>\n


\nCallbacks: Thursday, Feb. 7, 6 to 11 p.m., be prepared to read sides from the script.<\/p>\n


\nRehearsals begin March 4. Please be aware that the cast will be required to learn a Scottish accent.<\/p>\n
