The talk will be held Feb. 5 at 4 p.m. in the Galanti Lounge, 溏心vlog免费B站 Library, 15 Lippitt Road, Kingston campus.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tOriginally from Arizona, Hensley Owens earned her doctorate degree from the Center for Writing Studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her recent research centers around the rhetoric of science and medicine, with a particular emphasis on childbirth. She explores how different forms of writing &#8211; medical and popular, public and private, online and off &#8211; inform, delimit, and respond to women&#8217;s birthing choices and experiences.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe Dana Shugar Colloquium is presented by 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s Women\u2019s Studies Program.
