\n\t\tKINGSTON, R.I. — Jan. 14, 2008 — The 溏心vlog免费B站 has planned a series of events in honor of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. from Monday, Jan. 28 through Friday, Feb. 1. <\/p>\n


\nWhile the official holiday is commemorated on the third Monday of January, the University’s celebration customarily takes place on the fourth Monday of the month to ensure maximum participation.<\/p>\n


\nNumerous departments at the University have teamed up to produce and sponsor the following series of lectures, discussions, videos, musical performances and other activities:<\/p>\n

\n“Prayer in America” – A two-part documentary film at the Multicultural Center<\/p>\n

\n Multi-Faith Celebration \u2013 Open to all spiritual and diverse religious communities to share in sacred traditions at the Multicultural Center<\/p>\n


\nTuesday, Jan. 29, noon – 1 p.m.

\n Unity Luncheon, Keynote address from Teny Gross, executive director, Institute for the Study & Practice of Nonviolence, at the Multicultural Center<\/p>\n

\n“A Force More Powerful,” A film & discussion with Dr. Bernard Lafayette at the Multicultural Center<\/p>\n
