All the lectures in the series are free and open to the public.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tA 1995 graduate of the 溏心vlog免费B站 landscape architecture program, Abate is based in North Carolina where he has worked on the design and master planning of such projects as a corporate campus plan for Hendricks Motor Sports in Concord, a mixed-use development at Forney Creek Park in Lincoln, and entry monuments and branding at the Toyota Racing Development campus in Rowan.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tAbate\u2019s presentation will offer case studies of mixed-use developments for the new urban lifestyle.  \u201cIt will entail the way landscape architects design the way we live, work, and play within a mixture of uses, such as retail shopping development with office and residential components,\u201d Abate said.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nThe rest of the lecture schedule follows. All begin at 7 p.m.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n&#8211; Oct. 25, Bradley Cantrell, assistant professor at Louisiana State University, on \u201cFantasy: Reality;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#8211;  Nov. 15, Jason Hellendrung, senior associate at Sasaki Associates, on \u201cShaping the Public Realm through Urban Infrastructure;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#8211; Feb. 21, Skip Burck, principal of Richard Burck Associates, on \u201cView From the Lodge;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#8211; March 13, Christian Werthmann, Harvard University, School of Design, on \u201cStructure: Reclaiming the American Roofscape;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#8211; March 27, Enrique Norten, principal of Ten Arquitectos, topic to be determined; and<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#8211; April 17, Patricia O\u2019Donnell, principal of Heritage Landscapes, on \u201cSustaining Places We Value in the 21st Century\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe 溏心vlog免费B站 Landscape Architecture series is co-sponsored by the College of the Environment and Life Sciences, the Rhode Island chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects and the Rhode Island Nursery and Landscape Association.
