Youngsters who are entering grades 6-8 this fall can participate in a fun-filled and up close opportunity to learn about oceanography this summer through the 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s Oceanography Explorer Day Camps.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe camps are led by outreach scientists at 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s Graduate School of Oceanography &#8212; experienced science teachers and camp instructors &#8212; who will introduce participants to the fascinating world of oceanography and take them into the field each day to learn firsthand about the fascinating and diverse coastal environment.  <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tDesigned with the interests of the age group in mind, action-packed activities will include thorough explorations of the barrier beaches, salt ponds, rocky shores, and salt marshes of Rhode Island.  The camp experience will also include a cruise aboard 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s 51-foot research vessel Cap\u2019n Bert.  Campers will investigate the mysterious and exciting life beneath Narragansett Bay and use scientific instruments and equipment to make fascinating discoveries about our local marine environment.  The week long camp will conclude with a behind-the-scenes tour of Mystic Aquarium and Institute for Exploration.  <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tOceanography Explorer Day Camp meets at 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s Graduate School of Oceanography, Narragansett Bay Campus, South Ferry Road, Narragansett.  The cost is $335 per camper. Session I runs July 9 &#8211; 13.  Session II runs July 16 &#8211; 20.
