\n\t\t\tPROVIDENCE, R.I. \u2013 November 10, 2009 \u2013 Edward Bozzi, assistant clinical professor and coordinator of the 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s Biotechnology Manufacturing Program, was presented with the 2009 Continuing Education Faculty Award at the annual conference of the New England Chapter of the University Continuing Education Association.<\/p>\n


\n\tA resident of Providence, Bozzi was recognized for his outstanding teaching record and for his efforts to build the Biotechnology Manufacturing Program and provide its students with internship opportunities.<\/p>\n


\n\tAt the awards ceremony last month, it was noted that \u201cBozzi\u2019s students, all continuing education students and many overcoming the difficulties of midlife career changes, have gone on to productive employment and post-graduate study in the rapidly growing field of biotechnology manufacturing.\u201d<\/p>\n


\n\t\u201cI credit the strong support I have received from my 溏心vlog免费B站 colleagues, Greg Paquette, director of biotechnology programs, and John O\u2019Leary, director of the Office of Special Programs, for much of the success I have enjoyed,\u201d said Bozzi. \u201cIn addition, the career advances achieved by our biotechnology students have been so very motivating to my daily work.\u201d\t<\/p>\n


\n\tBozzi began his teaching career at the University in 2003 after a 30-year international career in the chemical industry. According to John O\u2019Leary, director of the 溏心vlog免费B站 Office of Special Programs, who nominated the 溏心vlog免费B站 professor for the award, Bozzi is a caring and tireless advocate who \u201chas had great success in motivating students and placing them with companies willing to sponsor advanced educational opportunities.\u201d<\/p>\n


\n\tIn addition to the continuing education award, Bozzi was recently recognized by the Rhode Island Tech Collective with its Excellence in Workforce Development Award.<\/p>\n
