The cost is $7 per student.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nStudents participating in the Learning Landscape program use all of their senses to explore the world\u2019s ecosystems and learn about the plants and wildlife that inhabit southern New England. Topics such as seed diversity, native birds and mammals, worms and decomposers, and insects and invaders are presented in a fun and age-appropriate format.  Students have the opportunity to plant their own seeds and even feed a venus fly trap.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nScholarships from the Master Gardener Foundation of Rhode Island are available for Title 1 and Providence elementary schools.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nLearning Landscape field trips can accommodate groups of 15 to 60 students.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nThe deadline for applying for scholarships for fall field trips is Oct. 20.
