\n\t\tKINGSTON, R.I.\u2014March 31, 2009\u2014The 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s PR Summit continues with Rep. Raymond J. Sullivan Sr. (D-Coventry) who was state director for the Obama Campaign in Rhode Island.<\/p>\n


\n\t His talk, \u201cFrom Newsroom to the Obama Campaign,\u201d is free and open to the public. It will be held Monday, April 6 at 3 p.m. in the University Club, 95 Upper College Road, Kingston.<\/p>\n


\n\tSullivan will share his experience in the political arena with respect to public relations and journalism strategies. He will speak of the importance of building relationships while developing a professional career path.<\/p>\n


\n\tSullivan began his career as a reporter for the Kent County Daily Times before journeying into politics. He was elected to the House of Representatives in 2004 and most recently was named deputy majority leader.<\/p>\n


\n\t“Anytime we can give students the chance to meet and talk with experts, the better prepared they become. Our goal as educators should be to give our students a thorough, practical base of knowledge, but also to do whatever we can to help them establish career relationships,” said Robert Beagle, vice president for University Advancement.<\/p>\n


\n\t“What a wonderful opportunity for our students to meet Rep. Sullivan and learn of his hands-on experiences as part of a presidential campaign,\u201d says Regina Bell, director of the Public Relations Program in 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s Communication Studies Department.<\/p>\n
