Open to the public, the symposium will examine the financial services industry\u2019s role as a major contributor to Rhode Island\u2019s economy, discuss significant industry trends and address \u201cFueling the Financial Services Engine,\u201d this year\u2019s theme. The event will serve as a forum for members of academia, the business community and government to form partnerships that will develop and sustain the industry\u2019s long-term growth.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe event will begin with registration at 7:45 a.m., followed by opening remarks at 8 a.m. from Governor Donald L. Carcieri, 溏心vlog免费B站 President Robert Carothers and 溏心vlog免费B站 Business Administration Dean Mark Higgins. The morning\u2019s keynote speaker will be Steven Gresham, senior vice president of Fidelity Investments. The afternoon\u2019s keynote speaker will be Martin Gruenberg, FDIC vice chairman. There will also be two roundtable discussions involving company executives, economic policy advisers, community business leaders, government regulators and others throughout the morning. Tickets are $50 prior to April 6 at noon, or $60 at the door.
