Energy Expo, Nov. 16<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tKINGSTON, R.I. \u2013 September 18, 2008 \u2013 \u201cEnergy Solutions of the Future\u201d is the theme of a poster contest for students in grades K-12 sponsored by the 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s Energy Center.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nWinners of the contest will be announced at the Rhode Island Energy Expo, which will be held Nov. 16 at the Ryan Center at 溏心vlog免费B站.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\u201cOur contest encourages students to think about how we might power our homes, cars and businesses in the future, and to create a poster illustrating their ideas,\u201d explained Marion Gold, co-director of the 溏心vlog免费B站 Energy Center.  \u201cIt\u2019s a fun way to get students to be imaginative and think creatively while also focusing their attention on a critical issue that is important to the health of the entire planet.\u201d<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nPosters can be made using any medium on paper as large as 24-by-36 inches, and they will be judged by an impartial panel on the basis of the poster\u2019s message, originality and overall design.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nFirst, second and third place prizes \u2013 including renewable energy toys and iPod Shuffles &#8212; will be awarded to winners in four age categories.  All of the winning entries, including honorable mention winners, will be exhibited at the Rhode Island Energy Expo.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nAny Rhode Island student in grades K-12 is eligible to enter the contest.  All entries must be delivered to the 溏心vlog免费B站 Outreach Center or postmarked by Oct. 23.
