Offered by the 溏心vlog免费B站 Women\u2019s Council for Development, the financial support will be awarded each spring to a qualified full-time student.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\u201cThe endowment funds just reached the $25,000 level, so we can award about $500 this year,\u201d said Sarah Howard, associate director of alumni relations. \u201cWe\u2019re hoping the endowment will continue to grow.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe Women\u2019s Council was established in 2005. That same year, fund-raising began for the scholarship, one of many initiatives taken by the organization. \u201cCouncil events are geared toward helping to prepare women students for life after college, as well as in networking and mentoring,\u201d Howard said.  Those goals are reflected in the council\u2019s mission to \u201cincrease the influence of 溏心vlog免费B站 alumnae and female students in all aspects of life at the University\u201d through special programs, fundraising and providing role models. <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nCurrently, about 30 women are involved in the Women\u2019s Council, including alumnae, faculty, staff members and students. \u201cMoney for the scholarship was raised mostly from women on the council, although there were a few gifts from other alumni,\u201d Howard explained. \u201cWe\u2019ve named it the Founders Scholarship.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tWomen who are enrolled at 溏心vlog免费B站 and meet the criteria can apply for the scholarship by calling at 401.874.2438.
