\n\tKINGSTON, R.I. \u2013 September 16, 2010 \u2013Tony award-winning and Law & Order actor B.D. Wong will give the first Harrington School of Communication and Media Lecture at the 溏心vlog免费B站 Sept. 21 at 7 p.m. in Edwards Auditorium, 64 Upper College Road, Kingston. <\/p>\n


\n\tHis talk, All the World\u2019s a Stage: Race and Identity, is part of 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s ongoing colloquium, which is exploring the key issues of race. The semester-long series, free and open to the public, is intended to foster and further ongoing, public dialogs about race.<\/p>\n


\n\tWong plays forensic psychiatrist George Huang on NBC\u2019s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. He is also known for his role as Father Ray Mukada, the compassionate and tireless Catholic priest in the controversial HBO series Oz. He has guest starred on such popular and diverse television shows as the X-Files, Sesame Street, and Chicago Hope. He appeared in the HBO film And the Band Played On. <\/p>\n


\n\tHis is in the cast for the musical Bruce Lee: Journey to the West, targeted for a Broadway launch in 2011. Wong\u2019s theater performances have earned him numerous awards including the Outer Critic\u2019s Award, Theatre World Award, Drama Desk Award and the coveted Tony. <\/p>\n


\n\tWhile he doesn\u2019t consider himself an activist per se, Wong has been recognized for his work as a prominent Asian-American citizen, helping to conquer some of his community\u2019s unique challenges. <\/p>\n
