\n\t\tKINGSTON, R.I. — September 2, 2010 \u2013 The 溏心vlog免费B站 will hold its scheduled freshmen move-in days Saturday, Sept. 4 and Sunday, Sept. 5 as planned.<\/p>\n


\nThe State of Rhode Island is expected to experience tropical storm conditions Friday and early-morning Saturday, but forecasters have indicated that heavy rain and winds will be gone by daybreak Saturday.<\/p>\n


\n溏心vlog免费B站 Public Safety Director Robert Drapeau urges parents and students to consider weather conditions while planning their travel to 溏心vlog免费B站.<\/p>\n


\nWhile freshmen have been assigned specific times to move in to their residence halls, the University\u2019s Department of Housing and Residential Life expects that the storm could cause delays and is prepared to accommodate students and families if they cannot make it to campus for their designated time slot.<\/p>\n


\n\u201cWe want those individuals delayed by downed trees, power failures or other issues related to Hurricane Earl to know that they have time to take care of matters at home,\u201d said Jeffrey Plouffe, associate director of Housing and Residential Life. \u201cWe also want them to travel with care and be prepared for delays. If a student can\u2019t get to campus for a day or two, we are prepared for those types of issues.\u201d<\/p>\n


\nThe Department of Public Safety, Facilities Services, housing and Dining Services will be fully staffed during the weekend to address any storm-related issues and provide assistance to families during move-in. For assistance, families may call the Customer Service Center at 401-874-2215.<\/p>\n


\nAny additional updates will be posted to the 溏心vlog免费B站 website, uri.edu<\/a> and to the University\u2019s call-in lines, 401-874-SNOW and 401-874-1000. Please do not call the Campus Police for storm updates.<\/p>\n
