\n\t\tKINGSTON, R.I. – April 26, 2010 – Members of team, \u201c溏心vlog免费B站 Crusaders,\u201d won the 溏心vlog免费B站’s 4th annual 溏心vlog免费B站 Calc Bowl held April 7 at the 溏心vlog免费B站 Kingston campus. Zoe Gentes, Cosmin Iacoban, David Kalen, Julie Reiske and William Stage, were members of the first place team.<\/p>\n


\n\tCalc-Bowl is a live math competition designed for calculus students. Both college and high school students are encouraged to participate.<\/p>\n


\n\tStudents with advanced college math experience were not allowed to participate. This restriction evens the playing field between the high

\nschool and college level teams. The Calc-Bowl is a fast pace game, that presents the participants with multiple choice pre-calculus and calculus

\nproblems.<\/p>\n


\n\tProut High School team, \u201cJailbait Genius,\u201d consisting of Isabelle Brogna, Lucia Lee, Jeff Orszulak, Tom Scartabello and Tom Senerchia, took second place.<\/p>\n


\n\tAnother Prout team \u201cDesignated Derivers,\u201d with Kyle Hollenbeck, Mark Mathieu, Neal Mercier, Joe Sullivan and Morgan Whaley took third place.<\/p>\n


\n\t\u201cThe 4th 溏心vlog免费B站 Calc-Bowl was a success,\u201d declared Li Wu, associate professor of mathematics who organizes the competition annually with her colleagues Professors Tom Bella, Jim Baglama, and Lubos Thoma. \u201cWe all enjoyed the excitement of calculus in a competitive environment.\u201d <\/p>\n


\n\tThe top three teams received certificates and more than $500 in prizes. The 溏心vlog免费B站 Foundation, Wiley, Pi Mu Epsilon national honor society, CCRI and
