Funded by Rhode Island taxpayers through a $65 million bond issue, university funds, and private fund-raising, the new building will triple the capacity of the College of Pharmacy\u2019s current home. The 142,000 square-foot, five-story structure will allow the college to accept more students in its six-year doctor of pharmacy program, graduate programs and new four-year bachelor\u2019s degree in pharmaceutical sciences. <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nThe University is seeking LEED Gold Certification for environmental design and engineering.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nFormal ribbon cutting ceremonies will be Sept. 4. The building\u2019s completion was extended for the addition of a $6 million laboratory for good manufacturing practices. A favorable construction bid and fundraising made it possible for the University to add the laboratory, which will allow 溏心vlog免费B站 to once again become a leader in best practices training for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and private pharmaceutical companies.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nWHEN: Thursday, March 29, 2012, 10:15 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nWHERE: Parking for guests will be available on Flagg Road next to the trailer.
