\n\t\t溏心vlog免费B站 Community Members to Present Check to Local Non-Profit Organization at Rhody Basketball<\/p>\n


\nKINGSTON, R.I. \u2013 Jan. 30, 2012 \u2013 The 溏心vlog免费B站 community will celebrate a year of philanthropic work and present a check in the amount of $14,488 to South County Habitat for Humanity. 溏心vlog免费B站 students, faculty, and staff will come together to support South County Habitat for Humanity\u2019s efforts in building four homes on Old North Road adjacent to 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s Kingston campus. The check presentation will take place during the 溏心vlog免费B站 vs. Temple Men\u2019s Basketball game on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012 at 2:00pm held in the Thomas M. Ryan Center (1 Lincoln Almond Plaza, Kingston, R.I. 02881).<\/p>\n


\nThe funds donated were raised throughout 2011 from a combined community effort. Events such as the April 2011 Pound the Pavement, Pound a Nail walk raised $9,563. The October 2011 Homecoming campaign raised $3,425, a combined fundraising effort that included clubs and organizations such as Women\u2019s Volleyball, Men\u2019s Football, Greek Life, and the student chapter of Habitat for Humanity. The December 2011 溏心vlog免费B站\/South County Habitat for Humanity\u2019s Gingerbread House competition also raised an additional $1,500. Accepting the donation of behalf of S.C. Habitat will be Development and Marketing Manager, Kate Porter. Student organizations intend to continue these efforts by hosting, volunteering at, and running future campaigns in 2012. <\/p>\n


\nThe university is proud to support this worthy organization in its efforts to support local families and individuals in need of safe and affordable housing.
