The auditions are open to the public.  To sign up, call 溏心vlog免费B站 Theatre at 401.874.5921 or visit the theatre office on the second floor of the Fine Arts Center, 105 Upper College Road, Kingston. Here are the scenarios and requirements:  <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nTartuffe<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nTartuffe by Moliere, translation by Ranjit Bolt:  Clutching ever-present rosary beads, shifting uncomfortably within the hair shirt he wears for continual penance, and always eyeing the women as they pass\u2014Tartuffe insinuates himself into a wealthy Parisian household and turns it into wickedly funny pandemonium. The play\u2019s central character is a wily, opportunist and swindler.  He affects sanctity and gains complete trust of the head of a wealthy family while everyone else sees what Tartuffe really is:  crooked.  Tartuffe is Moliere\u2019s comic masterpiece that has been enjoyed by millions for centuries.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nDirector:  Tom Gleadow<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nCast size:  12 actors \u2013 6 men, 6 women<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nRequirement:  Prepare a classical monologue and be ready to begin on time<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nAuditions:  Monday, Dec. 12, 7 to 10 p.m. (University juniors &amp; seniors only) J Studio<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nTuesday, Dec. 13, 7 to 10 p.m., J Studio<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nCallbacks:  Wednesday, Dec 14, 7 to 10 p.m., J Studio<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nRehearsals begin:  Monday, Jan. 16.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nPerformances:  Thurs. through Sat, Feb. 23 to 25 and March 1 and 2, 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Feb. 26 and March 4, 3 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nSingin\u2019 in the Rain<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nSingin\u2019 in the Rain, based on the MGM film, which was based on the screenplay by Betty Comden and Adolph Green. Experience all the glitz and glamour of Hollywood\u2019s golden age.  It\u2019s 1927, and Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont are the toast of Tinseltown until the \u201cTalkies\u201d come on the scene.  You may remember Gene Kelly splashing his way through the famous MGM film but have you ever seen it live?  Join us as our season finishes with a big splash featuring this spectacular and romantic musical comedy.  There will be wonderful singin\u2019 and dancin\u2019 and, yes, it really will rain onstage!<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nDirector:  Paula McGlasson<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nCast size:  30 actors \u2013 ages 16 to 60, singing and non-singing roles, and tap dancing for chorus<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nRequirements: Bring sheet music, memorized selection from a stage or movie musical, bring tap shoes and wear comfortable clothes.
