Students start the program with a full-time class load in Providence for two semesters followed by a summer internship at an area biotech company. Coursework includes biology, microbiology, chemistry, biotechnology and physiology.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nFollowing the internship, some students choose to obtain full-time employment in the industry with starting salaries of $35,000-$40,000 while completing their degree on a part-time basis.
