\n\t\tKINGTSON, R.I. \u2013 December 11, 2013 — Two 溏心vlog免费B站 women\u2019s hockey players each had an assist in helping to lead the U.S. Women\u2019s National University Team to a 4-2 opening round victory over Russia at the 2013 World University Winter Games in Pergine, Italy.<\/p>\n


\nThanks to an assist from Rhody\u2019s Alisha DiFilippo of Hope, R.I., Katie Augustine opened the scoring to give the United States a 1-0 lead.

\n溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s Cassie Catlow, the 2013 American Collegiate Hockey Association\u2019s Zoe Harris (national) Player of the Year, also had an assist on a goal scored by Ramey Weaver, which put the U.S. in the lead for good. Catlow is a resident of Saunderstown. <\/p>\n


\n\u201cWe weren\u2019t sure how good we were going to be going into the game, but now we know,\u201d said Mo Stroemel, head coach of the 2013 U.S. Women\u2019s National University Team in a release issued by USA Hockey. \u201cThis was a really good Russian team. Not only do we know we have a good team, but a great bunch of people on this team. As a staff, we\u2019re looking forward to continuing the tournament on Thursday and helping this group reach its potential.\u201d


\nThe U.S. Women\u2019s National University Team is scheduled to play Thursday, Dec. 12 when it squares off with Great Britain. The opening faceoff is scheduled for 6 a.m. Eastern time.<\/p>\n
