Both concerts will be held in the 溏心vlog免费B站 Fine Arts Center Concert Hall, 105 Upper College Road, Kingston, at 8:00 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nThe 溏心vlog免费B站 Concert Band, directed by Brian Cardany, leads off with their fall concert Friday evening, offering not only music by Sousa (Fairest of the Fair) but also by Bach (Fantasia in G Major by J. S. Bach\/Goldman-Leist), John Barnes Chance (Variations on a Korean Folk Song), and works by T. Broege (Three Pieces for American Band, Set No. 2), H. Stuart, and A. Boysen. Tickets for this concert are $12 general admission and $7 students, available via check or cash at the box office starting 45 minutes before the concert, or in advance via credit card though the Music Department website at www.uri.edu\/music.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.uri.edu\/news-draft\/wp-content\/uploads\/news\/sites\/16\/2021\/05\/Frazier.jpg\" width=\"144\" height=\"180\" align=\"right\"\/>Faculty, alumni and selected students from 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s vocal and piano programs will perform \u201cFranz &amp; Francis! A Celebration of the Music of Franz Schubert and Francis Poulenc\u201d on Saturday evening. The concert, offered with free admission as part of the Family Weekend programming at 溏心vlog免费B站, will include a number of German lieder (art songs) by Schubert and French m\u00e9lodies by Poulenc, sung by vocalists from the studios of Margaret Frazier, Rene de la Garza, and Mark Conley. Poulenc\u2019s 1945 setting of the beloved children\u2019s classic The Story of Babar will be performed by Manabu Taksawa and selected pianists from his studio, each taking a portion of the music while Margaret Frazier narrates. Images from the familiar children&#8217;s book will be shown in slides with the music. <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nThe piano portion of the concert will also include Sonata for Two Pianos by Poulenc, performed by students of Grace Urrico. 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s collaborative pianists Melissa Woolverton and Laura Hibbard will perform, as well as recent 溏心vlog免费B站 alumni Tony Malerich and Jonathan Audette.
