\n\t\tKINGSTON, R.I. – June 17, 2013 \u2013 Dozens of private and public gardens, designed and maintained by Master Gardeners trained through the 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s Master Gardener program, will be open to the public for the sixth Gardening with the Masters, Rhode Island\u2019s only statewide garden tour, on July 13 and 14. The gardens will be open between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on both days, rain or shine.<\/p>\n


\nGuidebooks, which serve as admission and include garden descriptions and directions, cost $20 and must be purchased in advance. They are available at numerous garden centers around Rhode Island or from the 溏心vlog免费B站 Outreach Center on the Kingston campus. The guidebooks can also be obtained by calling 401-874-2900.<\/p>\n


\n\tThis year the garden tour will emphasize the educational aspect of every participating garden by having each Master Gardener highlight the unique, instructive features and styles of their garden. The garden guidebook will index these aspects for easy reference for tour participants. <\/p>\n


\n\tAnother addition for this year will be the highlighting of Rhody Native plants in the gardens and how they function as tough and colorful alternatives to some common but invasive plants often used in our landscaping. <\/p>\n
