The program gives young people an opportunity to have their questions answered about the plants, animals, and minerals found on the beach.  <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe dates for beachcombing are:  Saturday July 6 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe beachcombing events are free and open to the public, but pre-registration is required.  For more information or to register, call the Office of Marine Programs at 874-6211.
