Murphy Industrial Highway, West Warwick, from 1 to 3:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe new technology was developed by eNow, a Rhode Island company that has emerged as a leader in the clean energy industry.  It uses a proprietary solar panel system to capture energy to power vehicle refrigeration systems, lift gates, safety lights, and other auxiliary equipment so truckers do not have to keep their vehicles running to power these systems.  It reduces fuel consumption, emissions, maintenance costs, and noise. <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\teNow President Jeff Flath will discuss the new technology with those in attendance, and Peter Arpin, managing partner of Arpin International Group, will share his company\u2019s experience using the technology and discuss how it is benefiting his business.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\t\u201cThis is an exciting new technology developed by a local company that will help to achieve the state\u2019s goals of reducing petroleum consumption in Rhode Island,\u201d said Wendy Lucht, coordinator of the Ocean State Clean Cities Coalition.  \u201cFleet managers and others working in the transportation sector won\u2019t want to miss this opportunity to learn how their business can benefit.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tMarion Gold, commissioner of the Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources, will conclude the meeting with a discussion of the state\u2019s role in assisting in business development in the energy sector.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tOne of 87 such coalitions around the country, the Ocean State Clean Cities Coalition receives programmatic support from the 溏心vlog免费B站 Energy Center and has been promoting alternative fuels in Rhode Island since 1998.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tFor additional information about the Clean Cities Coalition or the April 5 meeting, contact Wendy Lucht at 401-874-2792 or wlucht@uri.edu.
