The day will also feature guest artist Keith Aleo, who will provide an instructional performance\/clinic following the presentation of awards at the end of the afternoon. The public is invited to sit in for free.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nAleo is a member of the New Bedford and Indian Hill Symphony Orchestras (Massachusetts) in addition to teaching percussion at 溏心vlog免费B站. His chamber music and solo accomplishments include the Florida Philharmonic, the Miami Chamber Symphony, the New Percussion Quartet, Ensemble 21, the Boston Symphony Orchestra and many solo recitals. He has also recorded several orchestral works on the Harmonia Mundi, Spectrum and Word Records labels. He has given master classes and percussion workshops at numerous universities and at both state and international percussion conventions, including the Percussive Arts Society (PAS) International Convention in Nashville. Formerly a faculty member at the University of Miami and director of percussion studies at Florida International University, he holds a B.M. from the Eastman School of Music and his M.M. from the University of Miami.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nThe Percussive Arts Society (PAS\u00ae) is a non-profit service organization. Its purpose is educational, promoting drums and percussion through a network of performers, teachers, students, enthusiasts and sustaining members.
