The event is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tO\u2019Donnell is widely recognized as an expert in the field of landscape preservation. She is a founding board member of The Cultural Landscape Foundation and serves as the global chair of the International Federation of Landscape Architects Cultural Landscapes Committee.  <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nShe founded Heritage Landscapes in 1987 as a firm dedicated to planning, implementation and management of cultural landscapes like public parks, historic sites, communities, campuses, public buildings, estates, museums, cemeteries, battlefields, parkways, botanical gardens and conservatories. The firm has completed more than 400 projects and has garnered 46 professional awards. Current projects address sustainability, multi-modal access and applications of best practices, as well as preservation, use and management of valued public landscapes.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe remaining speakers in the lecture series are: Stephen Stimson of Stephen Stimson Associates on \u201cYankee Ingenuity: Place-Making in the Regional Landscape\u201d on Feb. 21; Karen Daubmann, director of exhibitions at the New York Botanical Garden on \u201cDesigning the Visitor\u2019s Experience at the New York Botanical Gardens\u201d on March 21; Barbara Wilks, principal of W Architecture &amp; Landscape Architecture on \u201cShape of Time\u201d on April 4; and Elizabeth Mossop, professor of landscape architecture at Louisiana State University, on April 25.  <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nAll talks begin at 7 p.m. in Weaver Auditorium of the 溏心vlog免费B站 Coastal Institute in Kingston.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe 溏心vlog免费B站 Landscape Architecture series is co-sponsored by the 溏心vlog免费B站 Office of Vice President for Administration and Finance, College of the Environment and Life Sciences, the Rhode Island Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects, the Rhode Island Nursery and Landscape Association, and the Rhode Island chapter of the American Planning Association.
