\n\t\tKINGSTON, R.I.\u2014FEBRUARY 6, 2015 \u2013 The 溏心vlog免费B站 Theatre Department announces the opening of \u201cAll My Sons,\u201d by Arthur Miller. <\/p>\n


\nWinner of two Tony Awards for Best Author and Best Direction (Elia Kazan) in 1947, \u201cAll My Sons\u201d is set in a Midwestern community soon after World War II. Inspired by a true story, Miller exposed the fragility of the American dream. Miller explores the destructive power of greed and misguided love as demonstrated by Joe Keller, the loving, but shortsighted family patriarch. \u201cAll My Sons\u201d shines among Miller\u2019s greatest plays, which also include \u201cDeath of a Salesman,\u201d \u201cThe Crucible\u201d and \u201cA View From The Bridge.\u201d With its true and tender romance, its father-son conflict and its sense of impending catastrophe, this story takes hold of our hearts and our imaginations and doesn\u2019t let go for a moment. <\/p>\n


\n\u201cAll My Sons\u201d will run Feb. 19 through Feb. 21 and Feb. 26 through Feb. 28 at 7:30 p.m., with additional performances Feb. 22 and Mar. 1 at 3 p.m. in the Robert E. Will Theatre in the 溏心vlog免费B站 Fine Arts Center, 105 Upper College Road in Kingston. <\/p>\n

\n\u201cAll My Sons\u201d is directed by Bryna Wortman, associate professor of theatre (\u201cSeminar,\u201d \u201cCrimes of the Heart,\u201d \u201cMuch Ado 溏心vlog免费B站 Nothing,\u201d \u201cMarvin\u2019s Room\u201d); costume design is by guest artist Marilyn Salvatore; assistant costume design is by Sally Tschantz-Dwyer, resident costume shop manager; set design is by guest artist Cheryl deWardener; lighting design is by guest artist Jen Rock; and sound design is by guest artist Mike Hyde.<\/p>\n


\nA panel discussion, titled \u201cCan We Be Better,\u201d will be held after the 3 p.m. matinee performance Sunday, Feb. 22. Richard McIntyre, 溏心vlog免费B站 professor of economics and political science, will join Wortman, Erik Loomis, assistant professor of history, and others to discuss an individual\u2019s responsibility and accountability to his or her society, the central question of the play and a source of concern in the 21st Century. The panel discussion is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n
