Space is limited, so  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.innerspacecenter.org\/explore\/booking\"> registration<\/a> is required or contact Romy Pizziconi at <a href=\"mailto:romy@uri.edu\">romy@uri.edu<\/a> or 401-874-6119.  Tours are limited to the first 20 registrants each month.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nThe centerpiece of the Ocean Science and Exploration Center on 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s Narragansett Bay Campus, the Inner Space Center uses a satellite system and Internet2 to enable scientists and students to participate in ocean-going research expeditions without leaving campus. <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nThe facility is the brainchild of Robert Ballard, the 溏心vlog免费B站 oceanography professor best known for his discovery of the remains of the Titanic and numerous other modern and ancient shipwrecks.  Around-the-clock live video of research expeditions aboard the Ocean Exploration Trust\u2019s ship Nautilus, as well as video from the NOAA vessel Okeanos Explorer and other ships is transmitted to the Inner Space Center when they are at sea, and visitors can watch and listen in on the scientific discoveries they make.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nTours include a walk through the Inner Space Center, a display of artifacts recovered from ancient shipwrecks, viewing of video footage of previous expeditions, and a visit to the facilities where live television and Internet programming about ocean exploration is produced.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nThe Inner Space Center also offers tours for a fee to school, youth, and adult groups, as well as, classroom-style educational programs on such topics as underwater acoustics, hurricanes, or the unknown ocean.
