The event is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tFrom the streets of Mumbai to schools across the U.S., Abargil\u2019s story speaks to one of the most critical issues of our times. Former Miss World Abargil was the victim of a violent stabbing and rape, just before winning the Miss World crown. Brave Miss World documents her fight to convict her attacker and her own struggle to heal. Abargil speaks out about rape from the townships of South Africa, to universities in the U.S. where too often a campus culture turns a deaf ear to reports of rape.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tWhen Abargil&#8217;s serial rapist comes up for parole, her stability is shattered, and she tracks down his previous victims to convince the parole board to keep him behind bars.
