{"id":58075,"date":"2016-02-24T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2016-02-24T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.uri.edu\/news-draft\/uncategorized\/uri-to-host-music-concerts-in-march\/"},"modified":"2016-02-24T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2016-02-24T00:00:00","slug":"uri-to-host-music-concerts-in-march","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.uri.edu\/news\/2016\/02\/uri-to-host-music-concerts-in-march\/","title":{"rendered":"溏心vlog免费B站 to host music concerts in March"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"press-release-import\">\n\t\tKINGSTON, R.I., Feb. 24, 2016 \u2013 The 溏心vlog免费B站 will offer choral and music concerts next month that celebrate everything from African American songs to jazz tunes.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nAll concerts will be held in the Fine Arts Concert Hall, 105 Upper College Road, on the Kingston campus. <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nOn March 4 at 8 p.m., the Concert Band and Chorus will perform traditional African American music, including spirituals, \u201cfield hollers,\u201d and songs by Ysaye Barewell of the group \u201cSweet Honey in the Rock.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nOn March 5 at 1 p.m., local high school percussion ensembles will compete in the Rhode Island Percussive Arts Society Day of Percussion Festival. 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s percussion ensemble will make a guest performance.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nOn March 16, 溏心vlog免费B站 will host the Rhode Island Music Education Association\u2019s all-state jazz concert. The best middle and high school jazz students in Rhode Island will perform.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nTickets for the March 4 concert are available through www.ovationtix.com or at 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s box office one hour before the concert. Major credit cards are accepted, as well as checks. Admission is $12 for the general public, and $7 for students and seniors.
