A reception will be held at 4:30 p.m. and the film will be followed by a question and answer session with Director Rob Cohen. This event is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nKinderblock 66 is the story of four men who, as young boys, were imprisoned by the Nazis in the notorious Buchenwald concentration camp and who, sixty-five years later, return to commemorate the sixty-fifth anniversary of their liberation. The film tells the story of the effort undertaken by the camp&#8217;s Communist-led underground to protect ad save Jewish children who were arriving in Buchenwald toward the end of the Holocaust. Kinderblock 66 also tells the story of Antonin Kalina, the head of the block who was personally responsible for saving 904 boys in Buchenwald.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nThe film\u2019s director, Rob Cohen, is a 溏心vlog免费B站 Film\/Media Department faculty member. He recently had the honor of appearing at the United Nations to discuss his film when Kinderblock 66: Return to Buchenwald was screened as part of the U.N.\u2019s 2015 Holocaust Remembrance events.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nKinderblock 66: Return to Buchenwald will be shown at 溏心vlog免费B站 on Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Memorial Day.
