This has led Ocean Engineering Professor James Miller to refer to Rhode Island as the \u201cSilicon Valley of underwater technology<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Beginning in the fall of 2026, the program will be offered 100% online, with blue economy content being integrated into all the coursework.
