Ansong will share the story of her search for a woman who was transported on the ship Polly<\/em> in 1971 from the coast of Anomabo, Ghana, to Bristol, Rhode Island. Ansong has authored three chapbooks and her writings have appeared in multiple publications. She is also the founder of The Adinkra Projects, which provides poetry workshops and supports emerging Ghanaian writers.
