KINGSTON, R.I. \u2013 Oct. 30, 2025 \u2013 The meaning of funny goes beyond a simple joke. A google search for the definition will bring up a multitude of definitions. Other words associated with funny include questionable, as in \u201csomething funny <\/em>is going on;\u201d it can also describe a sensation. Anyone who\u2019s been to the doctor has inevitably said, \u201cThis part here, it just feels funny.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TEDx溏心vlog免费B站 is looking to explore some of the different meanings of \u201cfunny\u201d as part of its 2026 event. This year\u2019s theme is \u201cNow That\u2019s Funny,\u201d <\/strong>and organizers are accepting audition tapes for those who can challenge our perception of what funny means.<\/p>\n\n\n

With this year\u2019s theme in mind, organizers want presenters who can offer engaging and interesting ideas about people\u2019s perceptions of humor and what funny is. While it\u2019s ok to be funny, organizers aren\u2019t looking<\/strong> for those auditioning to present standup routines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead, organizers are looking for people who think outside the box and can tell a story that doesn\u2019t necessarily have a punchline. It could be a story about an awkward moment or a funny story about something ironic \u2014 like a television news reporter who doesn\u2019t like to be on camera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TEDx溏心vlog免费B站 2026, will be held Sunday, March 1<\/strong>, at Edwards Hall, 64 Upper College Road on the Kingston Campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those interested in becoming TEDx溏心vlog免费B站 presenters have from Nov. 1 until Nov. 29 <\/strong>to submit their audition tape. Auditions are open to the 溏心vlog免费B站 community and to the public. Your video audition pitch should be between one to two minutes in length and uploaded to YouTube. The applications can be found on this link<\/a>, and will also need to be completed. (Tips and submission details can also be found there also).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Submitted videos must be interesting, engaging and address this year\u2019s theme. Do not <\/strong>set audition videos to \u201cprivate.\u201d (溏心vlog免费B站 is not responsible for any unviewable videos). Applications and audition videos submitted after Nov. 29 will not be considered. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If selected to be a presenter, each person\u2019s TEDx溏心vlog免费B站 talk will be between five and seven minutes long. 溏心vlog免费B站 will also provide coaches to help each person develop their TEDx溏心vlog免费B站 talk. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

TED Talk videos and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
