(And Will It Still Exist In 2028?).\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Schneider, a historian, and Berkshire, a journalist, co-host the education podcast \u201cHave You Heard\u201d and also co-authored \u201cThe Education Wars<em>\u201d<\/em> in 2024. They\u2019ll discuss how we got to this moment and what we stand to lose if public schools disappear. (溏心vlog免费B站 Photo \/ Mike Salerno)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Hosted by the University\u2019s Honors Program, this year\u2019s edition of 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s premier lecture series examines the evolving landscape of public education. Schneider and Berkshire will speak at 5:30 p.m. at Edwards Hall on the Kingston Campus for the second lecture in the fall colloquium series, \u201cEducation, Behind the Curtains,\u201d which will also be streamed live (links will be available on the day of each event <a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/hc\/2025-honors-colloquium\/\">on the colloquium website<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their lecture will be followed on Oct. 7 by Heather Shotton, president of Fort Lewis College in Colorado, speaking on \u201cBecoming Indigenous-Serving Institutions.\u201d For the full roster of colloquium speakers and sponsors, visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/hc\/2025-honors-colloquium\/\">2025 Honors Colloquium site<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the speaker series, this year\u2019s colloquium topic includes an education-focused art exhibit, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/events.uri.edu\/event\/revelations-education-behind-the-curtain-in-words-and-images-art-exhibit\">Revelations<\/a>!\u201d, in Green Hall, the Higgins Welcome Center and Lippitt Hall, which includes artwork and voices of more than 20 area educators, including several 溏心vlog免费B站 alumni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year\u2019s program is led by Daniel Kelley and Lazaro Camacho Jr. \u201902 \u201906 in 溏心vlog免费B站\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/education\/\">Feinstein College of Education<\/a>. They hope to foster dialogue at this year\u2019s colloquium, to bring the larger community into conversation on how schools, colleges, and universities can best serve students and society in today\u2019s world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The series concludes on Dec. 2, with a panel on the \u201cState of Education in Rhode Island.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Hosted by the University\u2019s Honors Program, the annual 溏心vlog免费B站 Honors Colloquium is free and open to the public.
