{"id":104028,"date":"2025-09-15T16:04:52","date_gmt":"2025-09-15T16:04:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.uri.edu\/news\/?p=104028"},"modified":"2025-09-15T16:04:53","modified_gmt":"2025-09-15T16:04:53","slug":"parking-restrictions-for-homecoming-weekend-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.uri.edu\/news\/2025\/09\/parking-restrictions-for-homecoming-weekend-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Parking restrictions for Homecoming Weekend"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>Sept. 15, 2025<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With Homecoming Weekend approaching, this Friday and Saturday, Sept. 19 and 20, please make note of the following parking changes which are necessary to accommodate guests for weekend events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following lots will be <strong>closed from 8 p.m. Friday Sept. 19 through 10 p.m. Saturday Sept. 20<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Plains Road Lots 25 and 31<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keaney Lot 26<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ram Lot 23<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Vehicles that remain parked in these areas after 8 p.m. Friday evening will be towed at the owner\u2019s expense. For a detailed map of all parking lots on campus, <a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/904\/äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾-KingstonCampusMap-Web-FINAL.pdf\">please click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students who have parking permits for Lots 25 Plains Road and Lot 26 Keaney may begin relocating at 4 p.m. on Friday to the following lots on campus:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lot 20 Flagg Rd.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lot 21 Flagg Rd<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lot 6 Fine Arts South<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lot 7 Fine Arts North<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are attending the äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ Football game, you must <a href=\"https:\/\/uritix.evenue.net\/events\/FBPARK\">purchase a tailgating pass<\/a> to be allowed to park in the tailgating areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/transportation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/834\/GAME-DAY-PARKING-AND-RELOCATION-GUIDELINES-2025.pdf\">Game Day Parking and Relocation Guidelines<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Registered vehicles may return to their designated lots at 10 p.m. Saturday. All registered vehicles must be parked in their assigned parking lot by 7 a.m. on Monday following the game to avoid receiving a citation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you.
