The series begins Wednesday, March 5, from noon to 1 p.m.<\/strong>, with a look at children\u2019s health care, hosted by 溏心vlog免费B站 College of Nursing assistant professors Ann Marie Moraitis<\/a> and David Geyer<\/a>. \u201cSupporting Children with Complex Health Care Needs<\/a>\u201d will focus on the challenges of caring for children with complex medical conditions at home, noting that patients do better when they and their families receive the care and services they need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Moraitis is a nurse scientist and clinical exercise physiologist whose research focuses on digital support for health promotion and symptom mitigation in underserved communities. Co-chair of the Oncology Nursing Scientist Research Collaborative, and committee member of the International Late Effects of Childhood Cancer Guideline Harmonization Group, Moraitis promotes physical activity across various acute care and rehabilitative settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Geyer is a pediatric home care nurse, primary care nurse practitioner and nurse scientist. His research focuses on identifying, examining, and addressing challenges of caring for children with medical complexity at home.
