Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Rhode Island, with plowable snow and ice accumulations expected tomorrow (Thursday, Feb. 6). The 溏心vlog免费B站 is making the following modifications to class schedules and parking:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CLASSES<\/strong>
All morning and afternoon classes (those with a start time before 5 p.m.) on Thursday, Feb. 6, are canceled.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All evening classes (those with a start time at 5 p.m. or later) on Thursday, Feb. 6, will meet as scheduled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BUSINESS OPERATIONS AND STAFF REPORTING<\/strong>
The University will maintain normal business operations on Thursday. All essential employees must report to work. Non-essential employees may work remotely if feasible with the approval of their supervisor. Non-essential employees may also request to discharge vacation or personal leave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CLINICAL EXPERIENCES<\/strong>
In-area pharmacy, nursing, and physical therapy students should contact their site preceptor\/clinical instructor to discuss the appropriate actions to take on Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DINING HALLS, HEALTH SERVICES, AND CAMPUS RECREATION<\/strong>
All on-campus dining halls and campus health services will follow normal operating hours. Campus Recreation facilities will be closed in the morning, opening at 1 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LIBRARY<\/strong>
The Carothers Library and Learning Commons will maintain normal hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PARKING<\/strong>
The University will institute a partial parking ban from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

During a partial parking ban, parking is prohibited on any roadway or roadside parking area throughout campus. Students, staff, and visitors with approved parking privileges may park in designated parking lots during a partial parking ban. Please be aware of these restrictions and park only in approved locations. Vehicles parked in areas where parking is prohibited during a partial parking ban will be ticketed and\/or towed at the owner\u2019s expense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EVENTS<\/strong>
If you have questions regarding a specific University event, please contact the event organizer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The University continues to closely monitor the winter storm and will provide additional updates about University operations as necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
