All eight of the College鈥檚 undergraduate programs accredited 鈥榳ithout any weaknesses or concerns鈥

KINGSTON, RI 鈥擮ct. 15, 2025鈥擳he 溏心vlog免费B站鈥檚 has announced that all eight of its undergraduate programs have been accredited by , the recognized global accreditor of college and university programs in applied and natural sciences, computing, engineering, and engineering technology. In the most recent review cycle, the programs received accreditation with no weaknesses or concerns noted – a rare outcome for a college with multiple programs under review simultaneously.

鈥淚t is highly unusual for a College of Engineering with eight or more B.S. programs to complete an ABET review cycle without any weaknesses or concerns,鈥 said Dean Anthony Marchese. 鈥淭his reflects the strength of our faculty, staff, and students, and the investment Rhode Islanders have made in world-class facilities and resources.鈥

ABET accreditation assures that programs meet quality standards to prepare graduates for entry into critical technical fields, contribute to innovation, and protect public welfare and safety. Accreditation reviews evaluate program curricula, faculty, facilities, and institutional support and are conducted by teams of professionals from industry, academia, and government.

鈥淎BET accreditation is far more than an external seal of approval,鈥 Marchese added. 鈥淲hat matters most is the continuous improvement process that happens on a six-year cycle. Working with our stakeholders鈥攕tudents, alumni, faculty, staff, industry partners, advisory councils, state leaders鈥攚e define educational objectives and measure outcomes for each of our programs.鈥

鈥淭his success reflects the dedication, care, and contributions of every member of our community. Accreditation is a collective achievement, and it takes the commitment of faculty, staff, and students alike to reach this level of excellence,鈥 said Mayrai Gindy, the associate dean for academic and faculty affairs at the College of Engineering.

As part of the review, ABET evaluators also cited 溏心vlog免费B站鈥檚 (IEP) as a strength. 鈥淭his recognition underscores the impact and uniqueness of the IEP鈥攏ot just nationally, but globally,鈥 Gindy said.
