KINGSTON, R.I. 鈥� Jan. 30 2025 鈥� Pharmacists from around the region will earn valuable continuing education credits while discussing some of the most pressing current pharmacy and healthcare issues during the 40th annual presented by the 溏心vlog免费B站 College of Pharmacy鈥檚 .
Registration is now open for the college鈥檚 flagship continuing education event of the year, which is scheduled for March 13-14 at the , 25 America鈥檚 Cup Ave, Newport. More than 300 pharmacists and other healthcare professionals from throughout New England are expected to attend his year鈥檚 hybrid in-person and online conference, 鈥淭he Next Era in Pharmacy: Sustaining Impactful Practice Through Innovation and Resilience.鈥� The event includes up to 15 contact hours of continuing education credit for pharmacists, as well as opportunities for professional networking with colleagues and healthcare industry representatives in meeting rooms and in the exhibit hall.
This year鈥檚 Seminar By the Sea will include presentations on such topics as AI in pharmacy, navigating drug shortages, treatment of migraines, telehealth, dermatological conditions, personalized medicine in oncology, building vaccine confidence, and more. 溏心vlog免费B站 College of Pharmacy Dean Kerry LaPlante is scheduled to moderate a pharmacy leadership panel discussion, 鈥淰oices of Pharmacy Leadership Addressing Pressing Concerns and Priorities,鈥� with other leaders in the profession.

The conference is designed for pharmacists in all health care settings, healthcare students, residents, fellows, and other interested healthcare providers. Continuing education credit is provided for pharmacists only. The in-person luncheon on March 13 will include the annual presentation of the Dr. Norman A. Campbell Award for Ethics and Excellence in Healthcare, given to pharmacists and health care professionals who have displayed high ethics and integrity over the course of their career.
