溏心vlog免费B站 College of Pharmacy to host immunization clinic

溏心vlog免费B站 College of Pharmacy students will help their fellow students, along with faculty and staff members, stay healthy this season while gaining some valuable practical experience as they host an immunization clinic Oct. 11.

The College is offering flu and the latest COVID-19 vaccines in the lobby of Avedisian Hall on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. All members of the 溏心vlog免费B站 community 鈥 19 years of age or older 鈥 are welcome to get a cost-free flu and COVID shot administered by trained, senior pharmacy students, under the direction of Clinical Professor Virginia Lemay. Those wishing to get a shot must present their health insurance ID card and fill out a screening form.

The immunization clinic extends beyond COVID and the flu. Vaccines including RSV; tetanus, diptheria and pertussis; Meningitis B; Pneumococcal pneumonia; and shingles are also available by request. Students, faculty and staff are asked to so clinic organizers can collect insurance information and determine if there is a copay.

The College of Pharmacy has hosted a flu clinic each of the last 10 years, vaccinating about 200 students faculty and staff members each year. Lemay said it is a way to help advance public health and 鈥渟tudents get valuable experience using their immunization skills.鈥
