WHAT: The äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ will welcome 3,300 first-year students over a two-day period (Sept. 1-2) to start the 2022-23 academic year. äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ will also welcome 500 transfer students. Upperclass students will move in Sept. 3 and 4. New-student enrollment remains strong following another record-year for applications, with 25,400 for the upcoming year as compared to slightly more than 25,100 for the previous year. äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ President Marc Parlange and other äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ leaders will greet and welcome new students and their parents throughout the move-in period.
WHO: äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ President Marc Parlange and Mary Parlange, Interim Vice President for Student Affairs Ellen Reynolds, Director of Housing and Residential Life Frankie Minor, Dining Services Director Pierre St-Germain, Chief of Police/Director of Public Safety Michael Jagoda; dozens of äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ staff and faculty, and new and returning äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ students.
WHEN: President Parlange to greet new students: Thursday, Sept. 1, 8:30-10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2, 8-9 a.m. or 2:30-4 p.m. Upperclass students move in Saturday, Sept. 3, and Sunday, Sept. 4
WHERE: äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBվ’S student residential neighborhoods along Butterfield Road. President Parlange and other äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ officials will start their Thursday morning at 8:30 at Hillside Hall, 140 Campus Ave. On Friday, the president will visit residence halls along Butterfield Road.
