KINGSTON, R.I. — May 1, 2018 — The 溏心vlog免费B站 will host dozens of summer camps on a wide variety of topics from聽computer science and media literacy to agriculture and sailing.
But 溏心vlog免费B站鈥檚 summer of 2018 will offer more than just camps. Earn university course credit during one of the University鈥檚 聽summer sessions or expand your horizons at one of its summer institutes.

For youths:
Ocean science exploration camp at the inner space center
July 23-27: The Inner Space Center at 溏心vlog免费B站鈥檚 Graduate School of Oceanography in Narragansett, offers an Ocean Science Exploration Camp for 11- through 14-year-olds. During this week-long day camp, ocean explorers will engage in hands-on activities and investigations, tune into live oceanographic expeditions, meet scientists, and learn about different ocean careers. Kidseye summer filmmaking camp
July 9-13: , is an intensive and fun five-day summer camp that exposes students from ages 8 to 17 to the basic elements of the filmmaking process, culminating in a premiere screening of their finished work. Held on the Kingston campus, the camp is presented and run by FLICKERS: Rhode Island International Film Festival™ and is sponsored in part by 溏心vlog免费B站鈥檚 College of Arts & Sciences, the 溏心vlog免费B站 Film Media Program and the Harrington School of Communication and Media.
Campus recreation
溏心vlog免费B站鈥檚 Campus Recreation will host a number of programs this summer for participants of all ages. Recreation experts will teach everything from swimming, sailing or kayaking, or learning to rescue people from the water throughout the summer. Land lovers may enjoy camps for soccer, baseball, athletic performance training and a host of other programs. Visit for details.
Computer camp
Sign up your child (ages 8 to 15) for a week full of creative fun-filled learning at 溏心vlog免费B站鈥檚 Kingston Campus聽! Each of the one-week Camp sessions has a different topic that ranges from game web-page design to python programming, and is specialized for a different ages and ability level. All sessions begin at聽9 a.m.聽and end at聽3:30 p.m.聽Camps will be held weekly from early July through August. Check out our courses and how to register at聽.

Summer Institute in Digital Literacy
July 15-20: This six-day institute focuses on how literacy is changing as a result of emerging media and technologies. Join us in exploring innovative approaches now being used by K-12 educators, librarians, and college and university faculty. You will learn how to conduct project-based inquiry using a variety of digital texts, tools and technologies, which will help create challenging and engaging learning opportunities for you and your students.
