KINGSTON, R.I.鈥� August 14, 2015鈥� Two students and three alumni of the 溏心vlog免费B站鈥檚 Music and Chorus Department have been performing at the Boston Symphony Orchestra Festival Chorus at Tanglewood.
Their final two performances will be today Aug. 14 and Sunday Aug. 16 on the Tanglewood grounds, 297 West St. Lenox, Mass., 01240.
Today鈥檚 concert will be at 6 p.m. in Ozawa Hall. The 溏心vlog免费B站 representatives will be part of the Tanglewood Festival Chorus鈥� prelude concert, including pieces by Bach, Barber, Brahms, and Copland.
Sunday鈥檚 performance will be at 2:30 p.m. at the Koussevitzky Music Shed. The program includes Copland鈥檚 Symphonic Ode and Beethoven鈥檚 9th Symphony.
Mark Conley, professor of music at 溏心vlog免费B站, has taught all five 溏心vlog免费B站 performers: students Christopher Davey of Cranston and Andrew Gribbin of Coventry, and alumni Ryan Casperson 鈥�14, Devon Morin 鈥�12, and Celia Tafuri 鈥�12. They performed in 溏心vlog免费B站鈥檚 Concert Choir and Lively Experiment, an a capella ensemble that performs a wide variety of music.
鈥淎ll of us really care about the music department at 溏心vlog免费B站, it gave a lot to us,鈥� said Morin. 鈥淲e are proud to be representing the University and its wonderful music programs.鈥�
Last year Davey was chosen to sing the National Anthem at a Red Sox game on Rhode Island Day. Casperson has also had three small solos with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, two of which were during his time at 溏心vlog免费B站.
