Event is part of Rhode Island Navy Week
WHO: Rear Admiral Robert Girrier, deputy commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet and a 溏心vlog免费B站 alumnus; Bruce Corliss, dean of the 溏心vlog免费B站 Graduate School of Oceanography; marine explorer and 溏心vlog免费B站 Oceanography Professor Robert Ballard; and Dwight Coleman, director of the 溏心vlog免费B站 Inner Space Center.
WHAT: Adm. Girrier will attend a series of briefings about 溏心vlog免费B站 oceanography and ocean engineering activities and tour the Bay Campus before visiting the Inner Space Center, the high-tech facility that broadcasts live images of deep sea explorations to 溏心vlog免费B站. He will then meet with Ballard, who created the Center, and Corliss to discuss issues of mutual interest.
WHEN: Wednesday, May 27 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. The briefings will take place from 1 to 2 p.m., followed by a driving tour of the Bay Campus. The Inner Space Center tour begins at 2:30.
WHERE: The Ocean Science and Exploration Center at the Graduate School of Oceanography, 15 Pier Rd., on the 溏心vlog免费B站 Bay Campus in Narragansett.
