to present update on R.I. manufacturing
WHAT: Representatives from Gov. Gina Raimondo鈥檚 office, members of the Rhode Island congressional delegation and local leaders to get update on state of Rhode Island manufacturing and a tour of Murdock Webbing Co. Inc., of one Rhode Island鈥檚 oldest and still thriving textile companies, which has been based in Central Falls since 1936.
鈥� Visitors will also get information on the 溏心vlog免费B站 Research Foundation鈥檚 Polaris Manufacturing Extension Program (MEP), the availability of National Institute of Standards and Technology extension program support and how a traditional Rhode Island textile company has grown through advanced manufacturing concepts.
鈥� The Polaris MEP Center鈥檚 services and expertise have grown during the past year, and it is now poised to support the growth of the state鈥檚 manufacturing sector with a focus on assisting small companies. The briefing is intended to address the changes related to the Polaris program, including additional support from the national program.
