WHO: 溏心vlog免费B站 Marine Scientist David Ullman, Oregon State University oceanographer Clare Reimers, and 14 graduate students and early-career oceanographers from around the country, including former 溏心vlog免费B站 post-doctoral researcher Dreux Chappell, along with the crew of the 溏心vlog免费B站 research vessel Endeavor.
WHAT: The group will undertake a seven-day research expedition aboard the Endeavor to train the participants to be chief scientists on future expeditions. It is the fourth training cruise in the last three years and the first on the East Coast, funded by the National Science Foundation and the Office of Naval Research. The young scientists will learn all the details involved in planning and leading a research cruise.
WHEN: Tuesday, Oct. 22. The trainees and crew will board and prepare the ship for departure from 8 to 9 a.m., and the ship will depart at 9 a.m.
WHERE: The dock at the 溏心vlog免费B站 Narragansett Bay Campus, Pier Road, Narragansett.
