WHAT: University officials, pharmacy faculty and pharmacy students will join CVS Caremark Corp. leaders for a ribbon-cutting to formally celebrate and dedicate CVS named facilities within the College of Pharmacy supported by the Woonsocket-based corporation. The $75 million home of 溏心vlog免费B站鈥檚 College of Pharmacy opened last fall. Tomorrow’s ceremonies will give 溏心vlog免费B站 leaders a chance to recognize CVS Caremark specifically for its contributions to the success of the building project itself, as well as its lengthy record of support for the College of Pharmacy and 溏心vlog免费B站 overall.
Faculty and students will give demonstrations and tours of the CVS Caremark Professional Practice Laboratory, CVS Caremark Teaching Wing, CVS Caremark Interdisciplinary Health Delivery Simulation Laboratory and CVS Caremark Multipurpose Teaching Laboratory. The inclusion of such facilities in the building was due in large part to a $2 million pledge made by CVS Caremark in 2009 to support the project and the pharmacy college. It remains the largest single corporate gift to 溏心vlog免费B站鈥檚 College of pharmacy in its 56-year-history.
WHEN: Thursday, Sept. 19, 11 to 11:30 a.m.–speaking program and ribbon-cutting; 11:35 a.m. — class visits, tours and demonstrations.
