WHO: Catherine Woteki, chief scientist and under secretary for research, education and economics at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, 溏心vlog免费B站 Provost Donald DeHayes, 溏心vlog免费B站 Vice President for Research Peter Alfonso, and John Kirby and Richard Rhodes, dean and associate dean, respectively, of the 溏心vlog免费B站 College of the Environment and Life Sciences, along with students and faculty.
WHAT: As part of the USDA celebration of the 150th anniversary of its partnership with the Land-Grant University system, Catherine Woteki will visit the 溏心vlog免费B站鈥檚 College of the Environment and Life Sciences. During her visit, 溏心vlog免费B站 officials will provide Woteki with a tour of the Coastal Institute and the Center for Biotechnology and Life Sciences to meet students and faculty conducting research funded by USDA. Among the projects they will discuss are studies of water quality, tick surveillance, aquaculture and geographic information systems.
